Cookies are text files containing a small amount of information that is downloaded to your computer, mobile phone or other device when you visit the website. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, the validity and the value (usually a randomly generated unique number) of the cookies. Subsequently, each time you visit our website, cookies are reactivated and sent back to our website (or to other sites that recognize cookies). Each website can send its own cookies to your browser, if your browser settings allow it.
Cookies have various functions. They remember the preferences and interests of the user and ultimately increase the overall user comfort when visiting the site, as they can be used to find out how users use the site, enabling the site operator to improve its structure and content. They can also ensure that the ads a user sees online match their interests and preferences. Moreover, cookies can be used to speed up future activities of the user and web browsing.
Technical cookies – they ensure the basic technical functionality of websites/portals, i.e. login, use of services, etc.
Permanent cookies - these cookies remain on the users device for the period specified in the cookie file (they may therefore contain an anonymous identifier of your browser). They are activated whenever a user visits the website that created the cookie. Permanent cookies do not in themselves identify you as an individual, they only identify access to the site and the behavior of users accessing from a certain device. They are used mainly for the purposes of site usage statistics. Permanent cookies can also be used primarily for measurement and advertising, where they can recognize repeated visits to websites from the same browser on the same device and monitor user activities while browsing the website.
Relational cookies - these files allow website operators to link individual user activities while browsing the website. When a browser window is opened, these files are activated; they are deactivated again when it is closed. Relational cookies are temporary and all these files are deleted when the browser is closed.
Essential cookies - cookies that are necessary for the operation of our website. These include, for example, cookies that allow you to log in to secure areas of our website. Without these strictly necessary cookies, we would not be able to provide you with the website or certain services or functions.
Analytical/performance cookies - these cookies allow us to find out how visitors behave on our website while using it, which areas of our website are of greatest interest to them, they show us whether our advertising is effective. These cookies help us improve the way our website works, for example by ensuring that users can easily find what they are looking for. We use Google Analytics services for these purposes (for more information see below).
Functional cookies – the are used to make the website remember your choices and preferences, your website settings (e.g. language or other local website settings) and to adapt the website accordingly.
You can block cookies using the settings in your browser, which allows you to refuse the processing of some or all cookies, or you can delete them in your browser (this function is usually located in the "History" tab, which provides the list of pages you visited). Please note that if you block all cookies (including basic cookies) in your browser settings, you will probably not have access to part of our website.
In the "Help" tab on the toolbar of most browsers, you will find instructions on how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to receive notifications when new cookies are accepted, or how to deactivate all cookies. You can also deactivate or completely delete similar data used by your browser as add-ons (such as flash cookies, e.g. cookies that are used to play audio and video content) by changing the settings of the add-on module or by visiting the website of its provider.
